About Faith Family Shrimp
Faith Family Shrimp Co. is a proud, family-owned business rooted in the bayou waters of Chauvin (Cocodrie), Louisiana. Founded by Chad and Angela Portier, our company operates with a deep commitment to tradition, quality, and community.
We own and manage our processing facility dock, landing an average of 3-5 million pounds of wild-caught American Gulf shrimp each year. As a processing facility, most of our harvest is proudly supplied to local supermarkets and restaurants through partnerships with other leading Gulf Coast processing facilities.
In 2018, the Portiers expanded their operation with the purchase of a full-time working shrimp dock in Cocodrie. This addition gave them the ability to offer both fresh and frozen shrimp directly to customers and created new opportunities for growth—for the business, the community, and fellow fishermen.
